At 11am on Wednesday, February 26, 2003, in the office of the

co-chair of the United States House of Representatives Progressive

Caucus, Congressman Dennis Kucinich as a 2004 USA Presidential

candidate, while a "virtual Peacemarch on Washington DC" is taking

place following on the heels of the February 15th demonstrations and

marches for global peace conducted around the world, the symbol

of The Message of Peace and the principle of non-killing,

The Peace Pole, will be offered to the United States Government,

on behalf of all humanity, to correct the mind of the American

Government into harmony with the inviolably soveign but officially

ignored natural divine law and order which is commonly described

in the various languages of all religions and cultures of peace on

our beloved planet Earth but which moral code principle has been

inadvertently excised from American policy by the mental pollution

of materialism under auspices of "separation of church and state".

Modern physical renditions of The Peace Pole as objects of art,

interesting lawn ornaments, and gestures to bring the mind of

humanity together in simple thoughts about the possibilities of

of Peace on Earth, all have root in the historical precedent of

ancient India 2200 years ago when after conquering the whole of

the Indian subcontinent by violent and bloody warfare, King Ashoka

received and accepted The Message of Peace from a Buddhist

Monk, recognized the innately divine human mind's "spiritual pillar"

and thereby his heart was converted to the principle of non-killing

after which he monumentalized the teaching of non-violence by

building many Peace Poles and Peace Stupas throughout his realm

which thereafter led to a 500 year period of no war, no crime, and

no violence throughout the land until The Message of Peace fell into

ignorance once again in that area.  Still today in memory of this, the

symbol on the currency of India depicts the three lions carving of

the capital which was at the top of one such Ashoka Peace Pillar.

In today's world the United States of America has become the modern

Ashoka which has attempted to subdue the entire world by violence

and the threat of violence, the only country to ever use nuclear weapons

against human beings, the only country whose official policy still relies

on the promised first use of nuclear weapons to enforce the will of the

few on the lives of the many, the most violent society in human history

which now threatens the very survival of life on Earth by its science

devoid of human values applied to ever more destructive and 

despicable weapons of mass destruction.

This is not what E Pluribus Unum is supposed to stand for.<BR>

This is not what Annuit Coeptis is supposed to stand for.<BR>

This is not what Novus Ordo Seclorum is supposed to stand for.<BR>

This is not what The United States of America is supposed to stand for.<BR>

This is not what In God We Trust stands for.<BR>

This is not what the people of the United States should stand for 

any longer.<P>



Just as King Ashoka's heart was converted after accepting

The Message of Peace and understanding therefrom the innately

divine natural human values of the absolute nature of truth, the love

of all humanity as duty to the inviolably sovereign innately divine 

natural law and order whose human recognition automatically leads 

to nonviolence and peace within individuals and the world, so now 

the United States of America is on the verge of understanding and 

accepting The Message of Peace, re-awakening to its spiritual destiny, 

and becoming the world leader of a global spiritual re-awakening to 

bring a permanent global peace and harmony among all life.

As Congressman Kucinich said in his "Inner Space" speech at the

New York City Peacewalk Rally on February 15th, "the whole world is

watching."   Just as he marveled that sacrificed Columbia astronaut

Kalpana Chawla was delighted to note that from space the whole

Earth was reflected in her eye, the future of the Earth is reflected in

our own eyes as well as the now Immortalized Eye of Kalpana Chawla.
